I'm an artist and textile designer living and working in Northampton in the UK. I have a BA(Hons) in Fashion Textiles and Business and have worked for over 20 years as a textile designer for companies including Designers Guild and Alexon. My designs might be classified as Vintage Contemporary. They are hand painted in acrylics or inks and cover themes such as vintage forals to conversationals (scenes, animals, object d’art). I am inspired by a variety of subjects like 40’s and 50’s vintage floral paintings and printed decorative fabrics from many different eras. I endeavour to make my work contemporary by colour choice, repeat–type or by styling.
