I've been sewing for years, but often struggled to get the fabric I want. So I'm excited about the chance to design my own fabric just the way I want it. The majority of my sewing at the moment is for my daughter, so I'm particularly interested in pretty designs that are girly without being too pink. I'm working on a range of fabrics that use the same base colours, so should all work well together. I also love the possibilities for printing pattern pieces directly onto fabric. This gives a chance to add lots of detail without having to painstakingly applique individual pieces. Watch out for some new designs in this area soon.
