I have been designing fabrics for my own textile projects for a few years and until now have always had them made up in the US as there were no affordable one-off printing options in the UK. I was so was delighted to discover Woven Monkey and to be able to experiment further making things for myself and gifts for friends. My designs are often inspired by antique objects but always intended to meet my imagination where I have not been able to find what I want elsewhere. I restrict myself to simple contemporary colours suitable for soft furnishings, bedding and clothing. I would be delighted if my designs help others fulfil their creative urges too... Let's hope Woven Monkey consider adding linen and voile to their fabrics - the creative options are endless!
