Originally designed for an exhibition at the Willow Gallery in Oswestry, delighted to be able to shared these drawings. Planning for Identity & Place came at a timely moment. As the end of my contract approached with Wirral Council’s culture team, I was redeployed into the local authority’s response to the pandemic. Dealing with people in the hardest of circumstances daily, made me reflect on how precious it was to have a home. DPI

Dots per inch or DPI as it is often abbreviated to is a measurement for image resolution. It signifies the quality of an image. Any design uploaded to Woven Monkey must be at least 150 DPI, and all images will first appear at this resolution. However, you have the option on the site to alter the DPI. For example you may have created an image at 300 DPI. Once you have uploaded your design you can change it from 150 to 300 DPI using the plus button provided.

Design Preview

The preview is a representation of how your design will appear on the fabric. It is your opportunity to check the order before it is printed. The rulers indicate the exact length and width (in cm) of your fabric. Any white areas will be left unprinted and if the design is cut off it will be printed like this.
