Murder in the Rose Garden

By: Heather Whitney

This half drop repeat pattern is inspired by my love of detective fiction and was originally carved in lino. The design features a chalk outline of a body; a magnifying glass; footprints; a cracked pocket watch; a diamond ring; a will; and a dagger, all intertwined with thorny rose stems. Murder in the Rose Garden could be used as a tablecloth at a murder mystery evening; on upholstery in a study or library; a cushion cover for a crime fiction enthusiast or even as a daring lining to a cloak! Whatever you choose, this design is a drop-dead stunner.
