Emma is a professional artist. She has been selling her work on a full time basis since 2003. Born in South Wales UK and raised by her creative family, her childhood consisted of living close to both the Welsh coastline and then the renowned 'Towy valley' Passionate about colour, shape and form she explores endless possibilities of harmony and expression. Part trained and self taught. Painting will be a continuous life journey, she is a dedicated and prolific painter. She works full time at her studio in her home in south Wales, UK. Being raised on the West coast of Wales and then later a little in land in the heart of some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK with inspiration all around her, she was on the doorstep of colour adventures from the start. Born of a business, musical and creative family the door was open for her to explore her passion with paint. Her love is with Acrylic paint at present, it's fast drying qualities are perfect for the highly textured layered work that she creates. Her work is bold and bursts with colour. You can find her work in galleries and in private and public collections both home and abroad. Painting is like life, it's a journey, the joyous moment to moment juiciness of the unknown. Enjoyment of the painting is her passion and once completed it is time for the next one, the journey being as important as the 'end result' Bold, alert, clear, fresh and does it 'pop' are all questions she asks herself at the end of a painting, if the answer is yes then the painting is finished. Emma has work all over the world including Nepal, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, Australia and America. She also has worked considerably with corporate companies, producing original artwork for the workplace. An example of this is Motor Novo Finance, a hugely successful expanding business in Cardiff where she has produced over 30 large paintings for board rooms/manager offices /reception areas. She has featured on local T.V. She has had work in various magazines such as 25 beautiful homes and Cardiff Life. Emma Has worked as a professional artist since 2003 although has been selling her work for around 20 years.
