Growing up in the rural setting of Herefordshire, Rose’s work often portrays themes of nature and landscape with the tendency to hint at something a little more magical. Currently studying Illustration at Cardiff Metropolitan University, she is learning to explore various visual languages and mediums including, watercolor, gouache, pencil and mixed media. Rose has a love for any illustration that is beautiful and colourful. Rose can often be found obsessively reading anything fantasy and whilst she enjoys nothing more than wandering the countryside with her friends and family, she is no less likely to be caught binge watching a great TV series or movie. One day Rose hopes to have her very own “garden shed” art studio and the opportunity to work with one of the many great illustration agencies.
