Rose Rhapsody Rich Beginnings

By: Liz Worrall Bailey Designs

This romantic, appealing design was born from encapsulating the beauty, shapes and colours of Tea Roses in all their glory. Hand painted using fabric paints directly onto fabric, this impressionistic design was originally guilded with fine gold coloured gutta,, which now, as a printed design, gifts an iridescent glow to the tips of the rose petals, giving the appearance of dew drops = serendipity! The design comes in two pattern designs 'Rose Rhapsody Rich Beginnings' a more fuller print of the original design, and a petite more condensed version 'Rose Rhapsody Rich Pickings". The fuller design looks great on cotton fabrics and is especially stunning printed onto silk, georgette and velvet, and can be used in clothing and home textiles, adding an abundance of luxury wherever and however you chose to enjoy it. The petite design pattern looks wonderful used as eye-catching ties and pocket squares, and in dressmaking. Most of all, I hope both designs bring you the feelings of joy I experienced as I created them.
