Poppyseeds was one of my first creations in pastels. I have abstracted just one element of the original work to produce this pattern. Inspiration comes from the many poppies i have in my garden, they are the essence of early summer, and their seedheads are just as good like little mini sculptures, i leave them in the garden to disperse their seeds, and for the birds, and because they add to the look. This would be great as soft furnishings, but also accessories maybe a kitchen tablecloth.
