Taken from an original B&W photograph of Icicles in a peat bog in the Glens of County Antrim, the early morning light lit these icicles up like a chandelier, creating a breathtaking sight that has been a quiet obsession ever since. The image was re- worked in watercolour, adding colours that happened to match my original intention to create an image that suited the internal decor of my Daughter's home. I feel the design is more suited to interior design applications, it has a hint of Arts and Crafts style that strongly appealed to me.
