Stripe jacket 1

By: grumbleguts

I thought stripe designs would be easy. It’s just straight lines in colours you like- right? it’s really not that simple. There must be some sort of formula, but I have no idea what it might be. Trial and lots of error was my experience. These stripes are drawn to give the effect of something you would make into a jacket for a regatta. In a heavy drill version of the fabric. I’ve never been to a regatta...but once I have my blazer made, I just might start. :)
