I was originally a singer & actor working in theatre and TV. My career as a writer and illustrator began when I created, wrote and presented several children's series for ITV. This led to WINDFALLS (see on YouTube), an animation series based on nature stories where wild flower characters were brought to life. Since those days my books have included Susan's Secrets a Victorian Kitchen in Wales, Quaking Pudding, Crafty Leaves, Butterbur's Countryside Adventures and Smudge the Slug. A love of nature has always stimulated my imagination and maybe my children's books will encourage children to take a closer look at nature.
