This design was based on the artists own lino prints and adapted to give an antiqued effect as might be found in ancient text or drawn upon walls of ancient buildings and caves. The hare is an image that recurs often in her work, It symbolises adaptability and spiritual change and growth. The hare is found only in open ground, away from urban life. It teaches us to appreciate freedom and to embrace the unpredictable nature of life. This fabric design was created for use in home décor and for children's clothing.
